Fantastic Endicott Arm Fjord

Here are some cool pics of Dawes Glacier and the fjord. A glorious day, with breaching whales for an encore! Words cannot describe the viewing of glacier calving that we saw today. Here’s a brief video of some of the wildest moments: [flickr video=3611465859]

    Hi Dave & Susie,
Carol and I have certainly enjoyed our visits with you. Sorry dinner this evening wasn’t in the cards for us. That Ferry travel is fun, but does throw your schedule off a little. We look forward to meeting up with you up the road. And, hope to see you Wed. before you take off.
Really enjoyed the calving glacier video and reviewing our own trip by savoring Susie’s paintings — your great pictures, too! I gave the site to our daughter in Denver and our son in the Springs. Can’t imagine how either of you have time to fold your socks, do all you’ve done, and publish it as well.

    Thanks,
    Dave & Carol

Fold socks??? We’re supposed to fold socks when we travel? Thanks for the kind words about the blog – it’s been a fun way to journal our trip, even if Dave is pretty ruthless with his delete button on his camera.

It has been a blast connecting up with you and Dave & Cindy as we’ve traveled North on the AMHS. Since you’re headed for some locations we’ll see later in the summer, please send us updates and recommendations about “do and don’t miss this”. Perhaps we’ll rendezvous in Tok or Chicken…
      Hasta luego,
Susi & Dave (1/3 of the triple D)
