7 Bears, 3 Deer & a Couple Dozen Eagles

Leaving Terrace Yea! More blue skies! To celebrate, before leaving for Prince Rupert, we took  off for a Park about an hour North of Terrace called Anhuukuut’ukwssim Axhwsm Angwinga’asanwskl Nisga’a, or Nisga Provincial Park. Boy, Ig would love to use that name for Scrabble! The park shows how little impact has been made on the lava that flowed 300 years ago.

Not only did we see all the above mentioned wild life in our journey to the park and then on to Prince Rupert, we loved the winding road along the Skeena River that kept us in the spectacular valley sourrounded by snow topped mountains and waterfalls. Pics can’t describe the majesty of the scenery but they do give a hint as you can see in the album named 05-21 Terrace to Prince Rupert at right.
