They are living in New Orleans while attending graduate school\/med school at Tulane. So we hopped in our little white box and knocked on their door late Saturday morning.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We had a blast riding the trolley down St Charles and wandering around the French Quarter. We stuffed ourselves at Ian&#8217;s favorite restaurant &#8211; the Napoleon before heading out to see the exotic sights in and outside of the shops around Jackson square! Luckily, the rain didn&#8217;t begin until we were 3 or 4 blocks from their home early evening.<\/p>\n<p>We dried off and headed out to try Rebecca&#8217;s favorite place &#8211; Jacque Imo&#8217;s. Unfortunately, the 2 hour wait convinced us to try another great spot &#8211; Jack\u00a0 &amp; Jenny&#8217;s. Lisa and I would definately recommend trying the portabello and brie soup!<\/p>\n<p>Rumor has it that Uncle Jerry B (for Madi Gras) and Lyn &amp; Ig (March) will be visiting NO, so we look forward to a few more trips while in the south&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were thrilled to discover that we are only 1 hour and 15 minutes from our niece and her husband, Lisa &amp; Ian.
