Changing Landscapes
We have been continually amazed at the impact of tides here in Alaska. Although not consistent, the fluctuation of high and low tide can be as great as 25 feet! Dave demonstrated this phenomenon with his photos of our Ketchikan campsite – we set up camp at low tide, took off for 5 hours and came back to find the sea about 5 – 6 feet from our RV!
